How long does U.S. LLC registration take?

LLC registration is usually 3–10 business days after the form is complete. EIN, state fees, and the LLC plus EIN package each have their own timeline.

The range on the service page

LLC registration is usually 3–10 business days. That clock starts once the order form is complete, not when someone first looks at the catalog. The state still has to accept the Articles of Organization, so a busy state office can land at the long end of that range.

The service fee starts at $299 plus the state fee. The state fee is paid to the state, not to us, and it is not the same everywhere. Published examples on the service are Wyoming $100, Delaware $90, and Florida $125.

EIN and the combined package

An EIN application on its own is usually 1–5 business days. The LLC plus EIN package, which files the company and then the EIN, is usually 5–14 business days because the EIN step waits on the new company record.

A name check is faster, often the same day or one business day, and it is worth doing when the name has to be available before you file.

What you do, and what we do

You choose the service, see the price and the timeline, and answer a short form. That is usually 3–5 minutes. We prepare the formation documents, file them with the state, and send the filing confirmation and company number to your email.

If the situation does not fit a standard filing, state selection guidance and custom requests are reviewed first. Review required means we confirm the scope before charging, not that the published timeline silently grows at checkout.
